Home Staging Success: YOU Are Your Most Valuable Asset… So Invest in Yourself!

One of the most important decisions you must make as a business owner is where to invest your resources and your time. It’s a challenge because there is certainly no shortage of opportunities for investment—growing your staff, upgrading your website, direct mailings, etc. And here’s the thing: each of those ideas has merit, as do many others I didn’t list. However, if you invest in various growth strategies without first investing in yourself, you are wasting your resources!

How should you invest in yourself? Here are several examples.

–        Invest into learning time management strategies. Your time is extremely valuable—time is the only resource that is equally distributed to every single human on the planet. You have 24 hours per day to work with. So does Bill Gates, Donald Trump, and Oprah Winfrey. Learn to maximize your time and you’ll be a step ahead of the competition.

–        Invest into the creation of a winner’s mindset. For the vast majority of us, success in business requires work. We weren’t born with the innate ability to run profitable ventures—it takes hard work, and it takes the right mindset. Take an example from the world of sports… some athletes want to take the pivotal shot at the end of the game, while others shrink from the big moment. The players that want the ball, that expect to succeed, are the most likely to find success. The same is true of you as a business owner. Creating the right mindset is the critical first step.

–        Invest into your customer service skills. Very few businesses on this planet are truly unique. In this day and age, all it takes is a quick Google search and a customer or prospect can find plenty of businesses who offer the same things as you. Good customer service, therefore, can make all of the difference. Offering a superior customer experience creates raving fans who love to spread the word—resulting in a positive “buzz” for your business… not to mention referrals!

–        Invest into your industry knowledge. This is where CSP International™ Academy® can help. Several weeks ago I had the pleasure of being a trainee in CSP’s intensive three-day staging training workshop with Nairn Friemann in New York City…

I don’t know where to start. It was a fantastic class; it was such a pleasure to meet Christine and Lynelle…It was a lot of information in 3 days! I am happy and thrilled that I took this class – Thanks to everbody for their help!! Sincerely, Mira B. Mississauga, ON

I am new to the Home Staging business. I had originally taken another Home Staging course and received their certification. However, my experience was very disappointing…

Last year I enrolled in a staging program which was very widely advertised and cost a little less than the CSP 3 Day Course. You know that saying “You get what you pay for”…?
