I have been a Mentor with the program since it began in 2006. I was honoured to be the premier recipient of the Mentor of the Year and I am a best selling author.

I enjoy working and meeting new stagers. It is always interesting to hear their stories and what brought them into staging.

I have three amazing grown children. My daughters are currently in University in Halifax. They love the city. I don't believe Ontario will be getting them back anytime soon. My son has just joined our Canadian Military. I am so proud of them.

I have an adorable and extremely affectionate golden retriever. I love to be active so you will find me most mornings at the gym and at least once a week playing volleyball.

Is Staging Certification Necessary?

The home staging industry is unregulated and there is no “governing and regulating association”. Don’t let this alarm or dissuade you from pursing your dream. The Home Inspection industry is non- regulated also, in fact many industries are rooted in non-regulation. What it means is simply anyone can say they are a stager and anyone can provide a training course, online or in person………….. without ever having staged a home! Shocking isn’t it? We believe as a new business starting out you need as much ammunition and information as possible to position you as an expert instead of a newbie. Certification for a stager is as vital as a license is to a real estate agent.
